Deputy Home Manager – Nursing Home
An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Ipswich, Suffolk area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers.
This nursing home specialises in general and dementia nursing, residential and respite care for the elderly.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Duties
* Alongside the Home Manager, you will manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements.
* You will ensure the service users are receiving the highest standards of professional support and experiencing life opportunities helping to promote growth and independence.
* Flexible person as may not always be in the office but would be expected to cover the floor or work alongside the nurses.
Preferred Skills & Experience
* Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
* The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care.
* Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
* The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals/families/visitors and staffing teams.
* Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing/agreement and evaluating care programs within the home.
Salary and Benefits
The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of GBP52,500 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full‑time role for 40 hours a week, working from 9am–5pm.
