The Supply Planning & Logistics Transformation programme is a key strategic initiative aimed at enhancing the capabilities and reach of Yorkshire Water’s current logistics operations. Its goal is to establish a new function that ensures the supply chain consistently delivers the right products to the right locations at the right time, ultimately improving asset availability. As our Business Transformation Manager, you will lead various supply planning and logistics projects, offering valuable insights and expertise while serving as the connection between Yorkshire Water teams and the transformation programme. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to support, influence, and guide them through the changes associated with the strategic transformation. Additionally, you’ll embrace opportunities to develop new skills and adopt innovative approaches to change management, helping to build and sustain a strong change capability within the organisation. Where you fit in: As our Business Transformation Manager you will: Play a pivotal role in delivering the Supply Planning & Logistics Transformation programme, working closely with change leaders, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes aligned with Yorkshire Water’s strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: • Partner with programme and change leaders to deliver key milestones and benefits. • Develop strategies that support programme success and long-term transformation. • Bridge tactical outcomes with strategic direction, ensuring continuous learning and alignment. • Plan and execute business readiness activities with Change Managers. • Ensure people impacts are addressed in collaboration with People Change Managers. • Track and report progress against success criteria, resolving delivery barriers. • Prioritise team efforts to align with programme goals and manage interdependencies. • Lead and participate in workshops, providing feedback and driving improvements. • Engage stakeholders to ensure awareness, alignment, and ownership of change. • Champion change adoption across all levels of the organisation. • Coach SMEs to maximise their contribution and ensure compliance with best practices. • Influence organisational capability, support benefits realisation, and align with business strategy. • Identify synergies across transformation initiatives and mitigate risks. • Lead projects with a focus on asset management readiness and commercial impact. • Design and embed performance metrics to guide decision-making. • Support the development of a Target Operating Model and relevant training. • Build a network of transformation advocates and promote agile, holistic thinking. • Collaborate across the business to ensure integrated, effective change delivery. What skills & qualifications you will need: • Proven leadership in operational teams. • In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, including order management, logistics, and emergency response. • Strong background in managing change in fast-paced, operational environments. • Effective stakeholder management across broad networks. • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence, align, and inspire. • Skilled in leading both direct and matrix teams. • Highly organized, proactive, and accountable with strong multitasking abilities. • Proficient in interpreting KPIs and using data to drive actionable insights. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Able to simplify complex information to support change adoption. • Experienced in managing project teams to meet business goals and milestones. • Background in operational and asset management disciplines.
