Connected Vehicle Validation Engineer Cranfield (Hybrid) 6 Months Extension About the Role Were hiring a Connected Vehicle Validation Engineer to support the testing and validation of cutting-edge connected car and telematics systems. This is a hands-on role working across vehicle systems, mobile apps, and wearable technology, ideal for a junior or mid-level engineer looking to grow in automotive validation. Key Responsibilities End-to-end validation testing of connected vehicle features Test connected services via mobile apps and smart devices Raise and manage incident tickets through to resolution Conduct root cause analysis and fault investigation Ensure vehicle-level quality, functionality, and reliability Prepare test environments and validation resources Support data analysis and test automation using Python Skills & Experience Experience in validation, testing, or automotive engineering (desirable) Knowledge of Python (data analysis, scripting, or automation) Understanding of validation processes / test methodologies Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office tools Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Strong communication skills Requirements Full UK or EU driving licence (essential) Willingness to travel internationally (short-term trips) Flexible approach to hybrid working (Cranfield site attendance required) Why Apply?
