As part of North Ayrshire Council's Modern Apprentice Recruitment Process, if selected as a Preferred Candidate after interview, you must complete a 1-week pre-employment Course with our Employability Partners before receiving a Conditional Offer of Employment. Modern Apprenticeship posts are open to North Ayrshire residents aged 16-19 at the start of employment.
This apprenticeship is based within North Ayrshire Council's Corporate Procurement Unit. You will report to the Procurement Team Manager (Sustainability) and support the team with clerical duties and procurement activities, including sourcing supplies, services, and works such as social care, building projects, facilities management, ICT, vehicles, food, and waste. Our goal is to ensure all purchases/contracts are legally compliant, fit for purpose, and offer value for money.
