Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various tools and equipment. Duties
* Install, repair, and maintain gas appliances and systems in residential and commercial properties.
* Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all installations meet safety standards.
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out tasks effectively.
* Perform plumbing tasks related to gas systems, ensuring proper connections and functionality.
* Assemble components of gas systems as required, demonstrating strong mechanical skills.
* Carry out heavy lifting as necessary during installation or maintenance tasks.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues to management.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Gas Engineer or in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
* Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations.
* Experience in plumbing is advantageous but not essential.
* Carpentry skills are a plus for any additional modifications needed on-site.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
