Description
Create and publish engaging content across social media and digital engagement platforms, with a strong focus on student audiences
Produce compelling written copy and source basic imagery/video to support student recruitment and Clearing campaigns
Adapt content for multiple channels including online communities (e.g. The Student Room), email, web and digital advertising
Optimise content for different audiences, stages of the student journey and campaign objectives
Follow brand guidelines and ensure content meets accessibility, data protection and advertising standards
Work closely with student recruitment and engagement colleagues to deliver campaign messaging on time
Monitor content performance and make quick improvements based on engagement and results
Support wider marketing activity as needed in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environmentProfile
A successful Marketing Officer should have:
Proven experience in a hands‑on content role, ideally in a fast‑paced environment
Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different digital and social platforms
Experience creating and posting content across social media and online digital communities
Ability to deliver a high volume of quality content quickly and work to tight deadlines
Confident working independently with minimal instruction; a proactive self‑starter
Experience supporting digital or recruitment‑focused campaigns such as lead generation or Clearing‑style activity
Good understanding of brand guidelines, accessibility and digital best practice
Comfortable working fully remote and available to start immediately or at short noticeJob Offer
Annual Salary of £30,000 - £36000 per annum on offer.
