We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Venue Safety and Security Manager to join our Security team. You’ll play a leading role ensuring that every event at Co‑op Live is delivered in a safe, secure, and seamless way.

As part of Co‑op Live, you’ll help us lead the way, developing innovative safety strategies, and empowering teams to deliver unforgettable events with confidence and meticulous care.
Reporting into the Head of Security, the Venue Safety & Security Manager will contribute to the ultimate fan experience, leading the team of event‑level managers, security supervisors, security officers, event supervisors, stewards and other specialist resources to provide exemplary service standards, and drive continuous improvement through regular reviews and management of risk.
Please note this role is working 5 out 7 days per week and supports our events, therefore weekend and late evenings are required.

Pay and Benefits
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 depending on experience + Benefits

Qualifications
* Experience managing a security operation in a large venue such as an arena or sports stadium
* Experience managing protective security at venues and across Zone Ex
* Experience managing contracts for specialist service providers
* Great leader who can influence and inspire others
* Brilliant people manager who puts people first
* Positive can‑do approach to safety and security
* NVQ Level 5 in Crowd Safety Management
* Current holder of SIA Door Supervisor licence and SIA CCTV Operators licence
* Current Health and Safety qualification such as IOSH
