Senior Autism Practitioner (Team Leader)
* Salary: Starting at £33,921, rising to £34,371 after probation.
* Location: Lanark
* Job Type: Full-time - 37 Hours per week.
Reed Health & Care are recruiting for a Senior Autism Practitioner in Lanark. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader passionate about coaching and developing teams, adapting to new challenges, and making a lasting impact.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Lead the delivery of high-quality support services ensuring each autistic adult receives tailored care.
* Coach and mentor a team of Autism Practitioners, inspiring them to excel in their roles.
* Collaborate closely with families, agencies, and multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement effective support plans.
* Actively participate in the recruitment process to strengthen our team with talented individuals.
* Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance your leadership skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven supervisory experience in social care, specifically supporting autistic individuals.
* Ability to coach and mentor team members effectively.
* SVQ Level 3 with a Willingness to obtain an SVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care and Leadership and Management for Care Services (LMC)
* Good IT literacy, proficient in MS Word and Excel.
* Full UK Driving License.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and provide on-call support as needed.
