Join Our Team as a Senior Electrical Engineer!
Compensation: Enjoy a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $160,000 annually, with opportunities for increases upon obtaining your PE license.
Location: Work in a hybrid model from our offices in Midland Park, NJ, or Goshen, NY after a 90-day in-office training period.
Work Schedule: Flexibility to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, depending on client needs and manager approval.

Your Role as a Senior Electrical Engineer
Join our dynamic team at LAN Associates, a mid-sized, multi-disciplined architectural and engineering firm. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will:
* Mentor and inspire junior designers to grow their skills.
* Coordinate and design various electrical projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* Engage in all phases of project development, from design to construction.
* Prepare proposals and actively participate in the submission process.
* Collaborate with architects, owners, and other engineering disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage office construction administration, including reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFIs.
* Conduct job site observations as needed.
* Assist with project reports, marketing, and technical presentations.
* Develop applications, permits, engineering reports, and specifications.
* Lead client and project meetings to ensure alignment and progress.
* Utilize electrical design calculations for loads, equipment sizing, and voltage drop.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
* 7+ years of experience in the AEC industry (10 years preferred).
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Preferred Professional Engineer (PE) or EIT certification, with goals of attaining PE licensure (NJ & NY preferred).
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of relevant electrical standards and building codes.
* Experience in client-facing roles related to building project construction.
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally (up to 20% within the Tri-State Area).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience within an architectural and engineering firm.
* Familiarity with REVIT and power analysis design software is a plus.
