Business Analyst – Asset Management / Investment Management – Regulatory Change £80,000-£100,000 per annum Our client is a Leading and Growing Asset Management company based in the City and is looking for a Business Analyst to join their Change Team. The role will focus on regulatory change projects including sustainability (SFDR, SDR, TCFD). The successful candidate will bring strong analytical thinking, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine interest in solving complex problems and improving processes. Specific Responsibilities: Analyse and document current business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement across systems, teams, and workflows. Evaluate solution options through structured risk, cost, and benefit analysis to support informed decision-making. Perform business process modelling and requirements definition for complex initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility. Collaborate with cross-functional Scrum teams to translate business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. Support the adoption of consistent analysis and modelling standards across the organisation. Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to scope and prioritise initiatives, ensuring stakeholder alignment. Identify barriers to change—whether operational, technical, or organisational—and propose practical, people-aware solutions. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the business analysis practice by sharing insights, refining approaches, and championing best practices. Experience Required: Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst, with a track record of delivering impactful change across multiple business areas. A background in Asset Management with experience of working on regulatory change projects. A commercial and customer-focused mindset, with the ability to balance strategic goals and operational realities. Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with cross-functional Scrum teams including developers, testers, and product owners. Comfort and capability in delivering projects that involve both business change and technology change. Expertise in business process modelling, requirements gathering, and translating complex concepts into actionable insights. Experience working on data-driven initiatives or digital transformation projects is a plus. SQL, Excel, BPMN, PowerPoint and PowerBI skills are highly desirable but not essential.
