Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our team and teach Key Stages 3 and 4 in a mainstream high school located in Prescot. Role Overview: As a PE Teacher, you will have the exciting opportunity to inspire and motivate students in Key Stages 3 and 4 to participate in physical activity and develop lifelong skills in sports and fitness. The successful candidate will be passionate about promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, and dedicated to providing high-quality PE lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging PE lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a range of sports and fitness activities. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and encouraged to participate. Foster a love of physical activity and promote the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal fitness. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development in physical education. Lead and organise extracurricular sports clubs and activities to provide additional opportunities for students to participate in physical activity outside of the classroom. Support school sports events and competitions, including organising teams, coaching, and providing logistical support as needed. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Physical Education. Experience teaching PE at Key Stages 3 and 4. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for promoting physical health and well-being. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
