We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as an Area Sales Engineer.
Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced and driven Area Sales Engineer to maintain and grow our sales in the manufacturing industry.
This role requires a self-starter with a deep understanding of metal cutting and machining processes, especially in aerospace Medical, oil & gas, and automotive sectors.
The ideal candidate will preferably be based in Scotland, and will be responsible for implementing sales strategies, generating new business, and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Performance Monitoring: Track and report on sales performance, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
Business Development: Identify and generate new business opportunities, expanding our customer base.
Sales Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to support business growth.
Customer Engagement: Collaborate with the team to respond effectively to customer needs and requirements.
Market Strategy Implementation: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales and market penetration in the assigned territory.
Qualifications: Industry Experience: Preferably a time-served engineer with experience in the aerospace, oil & gas, or automotive industries.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of metal cutting and machining processes.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Resourceful with strong problem-solving capabilities.
IT Proficiency: Competent in using various IT tools and software for sales and reporting.
