Receptionist
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £23,971 pro rata
Hours: Part - Time, 22.5 hrs per week
Contract Type: Temporary with the potential for Permanent
Our client, a leading education provider, is looking for a confident and customer-focused individual to join their Learner Recruitment and Events Team. As a key front-of-house presence, you’ll provide a warm welcome and professional service to all visitors, learners and staff.
This part-time role (22.5 hours per week) is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy reception environment and enjoys helping others. You’ll handle course enquiries, provide pre-entry advice, and ensure every interaction reflects the college’s commitment to excellence.
Preferred working pattern:
Tuesday & Thursday: 12:30 pm – 9:00 pm
One additional day: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Responsibilities include:
Delivering a professional reception and enquiry service
Providing accurate information and advice to learners
Managing phone, email and face-to-face enquiries
Supporting internal departments with learner recruitment processes
Ensuring a positive and efficient customer experience
You will need:
Experience in a customer-facing role (education sector desirable)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Level 2 in English and Maths (or willingness to work towards)
Must hold a current & valid ENHANCED DBS
Level 3 in Information & Guidance and Level 2 in Customer Service (or willingness to work towards)
