Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments within the care home. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Duties
* Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including communal areas, Dining room, lounge, and bedrooms.
* Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
* Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management promptly.
* Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
* Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
* Assist with additional duties as required, which may include light cooking or food preparation in certain settings.
Requirements
* Previous experience in commercial cleaning or hotel environments is preferred.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
* A valid driver's licence is advantageous but not essential.
