Role Description This is an on-site, full time role for a Flight Coordinator based in Biggin Hill. Duties will include, but not limited to: Answering telephone calls and emails Preparing quotes on the SkyCare electronic platforms Completing mission plan proformas Finding a team from our medical staff bank Liaising with insurance and medical assistance companies Answering questions from patient’s relatives and friends Restocking and checking medical bags, managing stock room Filling the aircraft oxygen Preparing and cleaning the aircraft Scanning and preparing paperwork post-mission for the governance process Driving ground ambulances (where within scope and driving experience/license) Qualifications and Experience Repatriation experience in at least one mode of transport (road, commercial, air ambulance) either direct clinical experience or experience of planning and coordinating missions Experience of leadership/management roles such as mentoring, rota management, audit or quality improvement projects Can demonstrate insight into working with clients in the insurance industry, medical assistance and/or NHS Good telephone manner, computer literate and able to learn new software quickly Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to effectively handle various stakeholders. Ability to coordinate and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with aviation standards or procedures is a plus. Previous experience in a similar role or in the aviation or medical field is desirable.
