Job Description Registered Children's Home Manager Salary: Up to £65,000 (Including Bonus Earning Potential) Full-Time, Monday-Friday Our client, a children’s residential service, is dedicated to supporting a small number of young people with complex emotions and behaviours that challenge. They are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead their home, ensuring a safe, stable, and supportive environment where children can thrive. As the Registered Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring compliance with OFSTED regulations, and maintaining high standards of care. You will lead a dedicated team to provide a supportive and therapeutic setting that empowers young people to reach their full potential. What We’re Looking For Relevant Qualification – Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare) – Essential. Proven Experience – At least 2 years’ experience managing an OFSTED-registered home with a GOOD or better rating. Specialist Knowledge – Strong understanding of emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and experience supporting children with challenging behaviours. Legislative Expertise – In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, including the Children’s Act 1989 & 2004. Driving Licence – A full UK driving licence is required. Manage Budgets & Operations – Oversee policies, procedures, and financial resources for smooth service delivery.
