Level 2 BSL Teaching Assistant – Gateshead (Full-Time, September Start) Do you have Level 2 British Sign Language (BSL) skills and a passion for supporting young people to thrive in education? Protocol Education is recruiting a dedicated Level 2 BSL Teaching Assistant to work across specialist and mainstream educational settings in the Gateshead area from September 2025 . This rewarding full-time role involves supporting learners with hearing impairments and communication needs, helping them access learning, develop independence, and build confidence in the classroom. Please note: Due to the nature of the role, candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle , as travel between multiple sites across Gateshead is required.
