We are seeking an Exporter to join our operations team. The primary purpose of this role is to work closely with the Senior Exporter, shipping agents, OI subsidiaries, and other internal and external contacts to ensure customer orders are shipped promptly and correctly.

This role would be ideal for you if…
* You have experience providing a customer-focused, high-quality shipping administration service
* You are familiar with export documentation, procedures, Letters of Credit, IATA, Dangerous Goods regulations, and understand the business implications of non-compliance
* You can keep up with changing legislation in shipping to ensure compliance with Customs and regulations
* You understand export documentation and procedures
Responsibilities:
* Maintain open communication with customers and ensure they are kept informed for successful shipping and receipt of products
* Find ways to meet customer requirements and maintain good relations
* Have a thorough knowledge of all Incoterms
* Hold an up-to-date certificate on dangerous goods shipments
* Represent the customer’s perspective within OI
* Ensure all export and NLR letters are confirmed and WMD and products are ready for shipment
* Prepare all necessary documentation for delivery worldwide, including invoices, packing lists, EUR1, ATR1, Certificates of Origin, consignment notes, and other documents related to Letters of Credit or Customs
* Inform management of issues impacting delivery and suggest improvements
* Handle Letters of Credit shipments, liaise with customers, and chase payments
* Update weekly credit hold lists and coordinate with accounts
