What You’ll Be Doing Working closely with the Head Chef, you’ll play a key role in the smooth running of the kitchen, including: • Preparing and cooking high quality meals with consistency and care • Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and organisation • Supporting safe food storage and kitchen hygiene • Following Food Safety and HACCP procedures • Reporting any equipment issues promptly • Helping guide trainee staff when needed • Ensuring fridges and storerooms are cleaned and recorded on schedules You’ll be a great fit if you have: • Previous experience as a Chef • NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cooking (or equivalent) • Experience with baking • A solid understanding of Food Safety and HACCP • Strong organisational skills and an eye for detail • A positive attitude and pride in your work Every day brings the chance to create food that brings comfort, joy and nourishment to our lovely residents.
