Job Description
People Dynamix Education are currently recruiting an experienced School Attendance Officer to support a secondary school in the Wirral area.
The successful candidate will play a vital role monitoring student attendance, working closely with staff, parents and external agencies to improve attendance and support pupil wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and track student attendance and punctuality
* Produce attendance reports for senior leadership
* Contact parents regarding absences
* Support strategies to improve overall school attendance
* Work closely with safeguarding and pastoral teams
Requirements
* Previous school attendance or administration experience
* MUST have experience using SIMS
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
