Horder Healthcare is on the lookout for experienced Duty Housekeeper to join our fantastic corporate housekeeping team. Playing an essential part in the success of our highly-reputable hospitals, this role is key to ensuring that the hospital, patient rooms, and employee areas are cleaned and maintained to a professionally high standard. And with this role being front-facing, we are keen to welcome warm, motivated and proactive individuals to the team. Location: The McIndoe Centre, East Grinstead. About you: You will be personal and approachable, with a real motivation to help uphold the outstanding rating proudly held by The Horder Centre. Prior housekeeping experience, preferably within a similar setting. Excellent communication skills, to help build those all-important and respected relationships with your team and wider teams. Proactive and forward thinking, with a passion for continued learning. Key Duties: To be responsible for organising the workload or activities of the cleaning services for the organisation to a high standard. To be responsible for overseeing and direction of a team of housekeeping assistants, providing supervision and ensuring their duties are completed correctly, whilst adhering to Horder Healthcare policies. It is a requirement of the role that you as a Duty housekeeper take charge/work bank holidays if required. It is a requirement of the role that you do not take any of your Annual Leave at the same time as the Housekeeping Manager or other Duty Housekeeper. It is a requirement of the role that you do work 1 in 4 weekends Salary: £20,634.90 pro-rata (£23,809.50 FTE) - £21,354.15 pro-rata (£24,545.00 FTE) per annum Right to work in the UK In accordance with Home Office guidance successful candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK before commencement of employment.
