Role: Customer Service Administrator
Location: Marden, Tonbridge
Salary: £25,000 – £26,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am until 5pm
We are working with a leading distribution company that is actively seeking a Customer Service Administrator to start immediately. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, self-motivated, and experienced in customer service or administration.
The customer service team serves as the first point of contact for customers via telephone, email, and trade counter. Responsibilities include processing orders, liaising with departments across the order lifecycle, managing queries, and supporting sales and buying teams.
Your duties include:
– Responding to customer inquiries and developing knowledge of packaging materials
– Keeping the CRM system updated (contact details, queries, complaints)
– Serving customers face-to-face, including handling cash
– Performing general administrative duties
– Coordinating with Purchasing, Operations, and Sales teams regarding customer needs
Job requirements include:
– Customer service experience via telephone and face-to-face
– Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
– Attention to detail
– Flexibility and proactive attitude
– Ability to multitask
– Responsibility for key project deliverables
– Positive, open attitude
– Knowledge of the country's geography and road network
