Band 5 - Oncology Research Nurse
Permanent – 37 hours
We are looking to recruit a nurse to an exciting and challenging post within the Oncology Research Department, ARI.
This post would allow you to expand the research nurse skills required to deliver exceptional clinical care to patients for all Oncology clinical research studies. You will be part of a well-established team of research nurses who will assist with training and mentoring. You will have the opportunity to learn about the patient pathway through clinical research trials, monitoring patients, new treatments, recruitment, and the collection of accurate data.
The post will provide an opportunity for a nurse looking for a career in clinical research. Previous experience in research would be an advantageous but full training would be provided. We are looking for a nurse who is keen to learn, willing to work towards achieving key objectives and in time have the ability to manage a caseload of patients under supervision for a busy trials portfolio. They must have a flexible approach, excellent communication skills and willing work to the high standard required in clinical research.
