Key Account Executive
Key Account Executive to take ownership of a portfolio of existing channel customer accounts. This commercial role focuses on protecting current revenue, growing share of wallet, improving relationship depth, and maintaining strong visibility of pipeline, forecast, service risk and account opportunity.
What you’ll be doing
* Managing and growing a portfolio of existing channel customer accounts.
* Protecting current revenue while identifying and converting opportunities for profitable growth.
* Building account plans, mapping stakeholders and strengthening relationships across commercial, operational, technical and procurement contacts.
* Driving cross‑sell and service expansion across FNG’s portfolio, including third‑party maintenance, networking, professional services, wireless surveys, audio visual and Cisco hardware and distribution.
* Owning pipeline quality and opportunity progression within the account base, with clear next steps, commercial value and delivery assumptions.
* Producing accurate forecasting and timely weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting through disciplined use of Salesforce.
* Coordinating internal teams to align quotations, renewals, service reviews, issue resolution, escalations and follow‑up actions.
* Supporting new customer development from time to time, where required by the business.
What we’re looking for
* Sector experience in IT services, managed services, maintenance, networking, technical services, channel sales or a related environment is essential.
* Experience in account management, key account support, sales support or customer‑facing commercial roles.
* A strong track record of retaining and growing existing accounts rather than relying purely on new business generation.
* Confidence working across multiple stakeholders and coordinating internal teams to deliver against customer expectations.
* Good commercial awareness, with the ability to balance revenue growth, margin, service delivery and customer satisfaction.
* A structured approach to pipeline management, forecasting, follow‑up and CRM discipline (preferably with Salesforce experience, although not essential).
* Clear communication skills, strong organisation and the ability to stay in control of multiple priorities.
* Willingness to travel nationally to provide in‑person support and presence to customers. Some international travel required.
