PRIVATE CLIENT SOLICITOR – SENIOR ROLE / PROGRESSION OPPORTUNITY
Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire
Salary: £65,000 – £90,000 + Bonus
QED Legal is recruiting for a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join a prestigious, Legal 500-ranked law firm in Hertfordshire. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced solicitor ready to take the next step into Partnership with a firm known for its excellent culture, strong reputation, and clear path for career progression.
The Role:
You will join a well-established and high-performing Private Client department, working on a full spectrum of matters, including:
* Wills and estate planning
* Probate and estate administration
* Lasting Powers of Attorney
* Trust creation and administration
* Tax planning (Inheritance Tax, CGT)
* Advising HNW individuals and families
You will also take on a leadership role, helping to mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the strategic direction of the department.
Candidate Requirements:
We are looking for a solicitor who:
* Has 6+ years' PQE in Private Client law
* Is confident managing a broad caseload of Wills, Probate, Trusts, and Tax matters
* Has a keen interest in career progression to Partnership
* Ideally holds a STEP or SFE qualification (or working towards it)
* Demonstrates commercial awareness, client care, and team leadership skills
