Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver with a background in transporting plant or powered access equipment? We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established powered access engineering company based in Gravesend who are looking to add a reliable, professional driver to their team.
This is a great opportunity to join a respected company within the plant and access sector, moving a range of specialist machinery to customer sites.
The Role
1. Position: HGV Class 1 Driver
2. Location: Gravesend
3. Work Type: Transporting powered access and plant machinery
4. Duties Include:
Delivering and collecting plant and powered access equipment
Loading and securing machinery safely
Completing vehicle and delivery paperwork
Representing the company professionally on customer sites
Requirements
5. Minimum 1 year HGV Class 1 driving experience
6. Previous experience transporting plant or machinery is essential
7. Age 21+ (insurance requirements)
8. Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
9. Digital Tachograph Card
10. Driver CPC
11. Strong understanding of load security and plant transport procedures
