Job Description
Join a small, community-focused nursery in South Bradford as a Nursery Administrator. You will provide vital administrative support to the nursery team, including the manager and owner, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role covers general office duties that keep the nursery running efficiently and enhances communication with parents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Manage nursery records, registration, and data entry
Handle general correspondence and incoming calls
Support staff with scheduling and documentation
Assist with billing, invoicing, and financial record keeping
Coordinate supplies and maintain administrative stock
Support compliance tasks including record keeping related to safeguarding and health & safety.
Liaise professionally with parents, staff, and external agencies
Requirements
Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in early years or education
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic accounting systems
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a small team
Attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
Friendly, approachable, and proactive attitude

Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (e.g., NNEB, CACHE Diploma, BTEC, NVQ 3, or equivalent). Experience working in a nursery or early years setting is desirable. Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to keep accurate records and write reports. Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and promoting positive behaviour. Physically able to lift and handle children and equipment. Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
