This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Cabinet Maker with a background in kitchen manufacturing to join a tight-knit production team and take real ownership of their craft. Our client produces high-quality, made-to-order kitchen cabinets and fitted furniture. They are looking to bring in someone who understands the full production process — from raw panel to finished unit — and who takes pride in delivering precise, well-made work. The position is available for an immediate start, and they are keen to find the right person without delay. THE ROLE As Cabinet Maker, you will be central to the production of bespoke kitchen units and cabinetry. Working within a small team, you will be responsible for constructing, fitting, and finishing cabinets to a high standard, drawing on your knowledge of kitchen manufacturing processes and materials. Key responsibilities will include: Constructing bespoke kitchen cabinets and fitted units from cut panels and components Reading and working from drawings, cutting lists, and job specifications Assembling carcasses accurately using appropriate jointing methods and fixings Hanging doors, fitting hinges, drawer runners, and internal hardware to precise tolerances Checking component quality and dimensions, identifying and resolving any issues before assembly Working with pre-machined panels produced via CNC routing, understanding how components relate to the overall build Liaising with colleagues operating the edge bander to ensure components are correctly prepared prior to assembly Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment Supporting the wider team with general production tasks as required WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR The ideal candidate will be an experienced Cabinet Maker with a solid foundation in kitchen or fitted furniture manufacturing. You will understand the production process from start to finish and have a good working awareness of the machinery and equipment involved — particularly CNC routing and edge banding — even if you are not operating them day to day. Essential: Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker, ideally within kitchen or fitted furniture manufacturing Strong understanding of bespoke cabinet construction methods, materials, and joinery techniques Ability to read and interpret cutting lists, drawings, and job specifications accurately Working knowledge of panel-based production, including standard sheet sizes and component layouts Awareness of CNC routing and how machined components are produced and used in the build process Awareness of edge banding and the importance of correctly edged components in finished cabinetry Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work Comfortable working as part of a small, collaborative team Desirable: Experience with bespoke or custom kitchen cabinetry specifically Familiarity with rigid carcass construction and flat-pack assembly systems Understanding of cabinet fitting and site installation City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent qualification in Carpentry, Joinery, or Cabinet Making Experience using hand and power tools to a professional standard in a workshop environment WHAT'S ON OFFER Competitive salary, negotiated based on your experience and skills Immediate start available — this client wants someone in place as soon as possible Stable, long-term position within a specialist bespoke manufacturing business A small, friendly team where your work genuinely makes a difference The opportunity to work on varied, high-quality custom projects HOW TO APPLY This vacancy is being managed exclusively by Kamro.
