We are supporting a leading engineering organisation in the appointment of a Head of Health & Safety.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will take full responsibility for Health & Safety across the business, covering strategy, compliance and operational delivery within a high-risk environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the H&S function across all operations
* Develop and implement H&S strategy and systems
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation
* Oversee audits, inspections and risk management processes
* Manage incident investigations and corrective actions
* Drive a proactive safety culture across the business
* Engage and influence senior stakeholders
Requirements
* Senior-level HSE experience within a high-risk industry
* Strong understanding of UK H&S legislation
* Experience managing H&S systems and audits
* NEBOSH qualified (Diploma preferred)
* Confident communicator with strong leadership capability
