Permanent Farm Veterinary Surgeon - Carlisle, Cumbria

We are recruiting on behalf of a mixed animal practice in Carlisle for a Permanent Farm Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days, along with 1 in 4 weekends. The weekends are on call from home from 7pm on Friday, in practice on Saturday from 8:30am to 1pm and then on-call for the rest of the weekend with nurse support. There is 1 night per week on-call. Flexible hours can be arranged to meet lifestyle responsibilities.

14. They are located on the outskirts of the Lake District offering a beautiful countryside environment
15. They have two fully equipped sites
16. They have a supportive team of 8 vets, 4 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 3 VCAs, Practice Manager, Farm Services Manager and non-clinical team
17. They have two Vets currently working towards certificates and the practice encourage and support areas of special interest and post graduate qualifications
18. They can offer a wide variety of cases and believe in case continuity and offer support to the team where required
19. The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients

Package
28. Salary: Up to £65, per annum, commensurate to experience
