Location:
Aberdeen, UK (with business exposure across Europe: Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Italy, and other countries)
Duration:
6 months (with possibility of 6-month extension)
Job Summary:
The Energy Transition Engineering Intern will support the Midstream Production Systems Sales Representative in developing new business opportunities outside the traditional oil and gas sector. The role will focus on building connections with CO₂, waste utilization, and recycling companies across Europe and supporting the introduction of SLB MPS equipment into these industries.
This is a client-facing, business development internship designed for a motivated graduate with strong communication skills, an interest in technology, and the ability to thrive in an international, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Research and identify potential clients across European CO₂, waste utilization, and recycling sectors.
· Assist in establishing and maintaining client relationships through outreach, meetings, and follow-ups.
· Support the preparation of client presentations, proposals, and technical introductions of MPS equipment.
· Track client interactions and provide regular reporting to the sales team.
· Assist in coordinating business development activities across multiple European markets.
· Contribute to market intelligence gathering and competitor analysis.
· Work with cross-functional teams to understand technical equipment features and translate them into client benefits.
Essential Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering or any related STEM degree
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
· Interest in business development and client-facing roles.
· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
· Valid right to work status in the UK for the full duration of the internship.
Preferred Skills:
· Knowledge of German (highly desirable).
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
· Strong organizational, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
· Technical curiosity and ability to quickly understand equipment functionality.
