Experience required…
Essential
* UK experience working within a Local Authority traffic engineering environment, or consultancy supporting Local Authorities.
* Confident in detailed design and implementation of traffic schemes including reviewing drawings.
* Competent in the use of TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manual, LTN 1 / 20 and other relevant standards and guidance documents.
* Experience in contractor liaison, including clarifications and site queries.
* Experience managing public consultations and stakeholders.
* Ability to prepare technical reports.
* Ability to prioritise workload, manage multiple schemes and work with minimal supervision.
Desirable
* CAD capability beneficial but not essential.
* Experience guiding junior colleagues or providing informal support to others.
* Organisation and monitoring of costs in relation to Traffic Regulation Orders and Traffic schemes.
