Harvey Sutton work very closely with all the leading professional services, with many of them currently looking to expand their Reward Advisory teams with talented individuals experienced in Executive Compensation consulting.

Providing advice to a variety of clients, from FTSE listed companies to private individuals, key responsibilities as an Executive Compensation Consultant, will include:

* Designing executive pay strategies - linking pay to corporate performance.
* Using analytical skills to help clients make the right decisions in relation to the design and operation of executive pay programmes
* Executive and non-executive director pay benchmarking.
* Advising on performance measures for incentive plans (LTIPs) and modelling performance outcomes.
* Corporate governance consulting.
* Investor relations consulting, including liaison with institutional investors.
* Preparation of remuneration committee (REMCO) papers and reviewing and drafting of remuneration committee reports.
* Drafting reports (e.g. benchmarking review and incentive design)
* Preparing presentations
* Preparing tender documents and attending pitches
* Developing strong day to day relationships with clients, who will call upon your deep technical expertise to help them develop appropriate, effective strategies.

Experience/Qualifications required for this role:

* University degree ideally from leading university
* Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA) encouraged but not essential
* 3 + years’ experience actively working in the area of executive compensation serving blue-chip companies.
* Deep technical skills on executive remuneration issues.
* Experience in winning, developing and maintaining client relationships, ideally within a consulting environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills - an ability to deal effectively and establish rapport with people at all levels (clients, partners and staff).
* An understanding of UK directors’ remuneration regulations would be desirable.
* Strong analytical skills as you will work with colleagues on databases undertaking benchmarking of pay levels.
