Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Heathrow H7 Procurement Manager

1. Manage and maintain a team of buyers across various projects under the Heathrow H7 framework.
2. Ensure compliant on boarding of suppliers & subcontractors in line with procedures
3. Carry out comparatives/ tendering in line with the company procedures and individual client contract requirements
4. Prepare and issue Purchase Orders
5. Ensuring purchase & hire requisitions are processed in a timely manner by the team
6. Maintaining a Supplier List dashboard with key metrics; performance, spend, scope
7. Providing colleagues with updates regarding critical dates
8. Liaise with suppliers to monitor the progress of Purchase Orders, ensuring deliveries take place on time and in full
9. Set out & maintain for each contract package a full register of materials & hires taking into account remaining credit, key dates, WBS codes etc.
10. Resolving invoice queries and discrepancies with our suppliers and accounts department
11. Familiarise and become proficient in assessing price comparisons and uploading comparatives on to the procurement system INSITE
12. Ensuring the team maintain file management on Asite / approved repositories
13. Ensure company systems, procedures and processes are always adhered to
14. Communicate with suppliers, site teams and other departments in Ferrovial
15. Adopting and promoting Ferrovial Construction UK Vision and Values.
16. Completing End of Contract Supplier evaluation process utilizing the procurement team for delegation to wider FC stakeholders.
17. Advise Project Management/Senior QSs on implications of intended courses of action

Skills and Competence:

18. Previous procurement lead experience
19. Good organisational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
20. Enjoys working under pressure with good attention to detail to meet deadlines
21. Excellent communication –(verbal and written) and presentation skills.
22. Commercial awareness, awareness of general order terms, as well as the implications of confirmation orders from suppliers.
23. Good understanding of NEC suite of contracts.
24. Good IT skills and adaptability.
25. Excellent knowledge of documentation systems.
26. Expertise with all Microsoft packages, especially Excel including at ease being able to carry out formulas & pivot tables. Experience using Power BI.
27. CIPS qualification – level 4 or higher
28. Sound interpersonal skills and ability to interact collaboratively with the supply chain, colleagues and Client.
29. Ability to manage a team and deliver timely high quality reports.
