Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Duties
* Assist the Head Chef in the daily management of kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
* Help in the development of new recipes and menu items, contributing creative ideas to enhance the dining experience.
* Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency and quality across all dishes served.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and collaboration within the kitchen.
* Monitor inventory levels, assisting in ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.
* Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of food production techniques.
* Excellent team management abilities with experience supervising staff.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
