Job Role: HGV/LGV Technician
Job Location: Shire Hall, GL1 2TG
Salary £36,363.00
Working Period: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Up to £3500 Sign on Fee.

Key Responsibilities of a HGV/LGV Technician:
Your day, week, and month could include:
Servicing and repairing HGV, LGV and passenger cars, including statutory inspections.
Inspecting, servicing and repairs of specialist fleet equipment.
Diagnostic investigations across light and heavy fleet & equipment.
Mobile maintenance, travelling across the county to keep GCC and GFRS vehicles roadworthy.
Working on fire appliances, pumps, boats, and specialist rescue equipment.
Servicing portable power units, lighting rigs and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Training on equipment used across the GCC/GFRS fleet.
Supporting equipment readiness for front?
Line fire appliances.
Fabrication, engineering, vehicle conversions, and occasional roadside recovery (full training provided to a national standard).
Collection and delivery of vehicles as required.
Attending and delivering technical training to the wider team.
Attending locations to support our on-call and out-of-hour cover.
