Robertson Bell are proud to be partnering with a fantastic not-for-profit organisation based in Sussex in the search for an Accounts Payable Officer to join on an initial four-month contract. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid working pattern and the chance to support a values-driven team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the weekly payment run and ensure all approved invoices are processed accurately and on time.
2. Maintain the purchase order register and act as the main point of contact for issuing purchase order numbers.
3. Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve payment queries and support prompt supplier payments.
4. Assist with month-end accruals and support finance reporting as required.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
5. Have experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
6. Be detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently to meet deadlines.
7. Possess strong communication skills, able to work effectively with suppliers and colleagues.
8. Be comfortable using financial systems, with adaptability to new processes.
