The Private Cloud Service team seeks a Private Cloud Service Manager to lead the service agenda across internal engineering teams and suppliers, focusing on the middleware technology stack.
The role-holder will voice the needs of private cloud consumers, identify and help resolve impediments, and provide transparency on service status, metrics and performance.
This is a leadership level role blending deep domain knowledge with a passion for coaching and developing people in a player‑coach model, while continually improving yourself.
You will provide feedback to Product Owners, shaping the product roadmap to improve the premise of the Private Cloud Service, especially around remediation of operational risk.
What you’ll do
* Own overall operations for our Private Cloud, including incident, problem, availability management, on‑call, manual intervention and toil removal.
* Drive operational standards, develop service levels and controls to support better consumer outcomes.
* masc inscrições ensure all internal and supplier teams deliver excellent incident and problem management, serving as the point of escalation for service incidents.
* Support consumers through the Production Readiness Review quality gate.
* Implement service dashboards and reporting using native tooling wherever possible.
* Identify opportunities to improve service levels and control across the Private Cloud Platform.
* Manage relationships and performance of Private Cloud Service Providers through reviews, daily operational shouts, etc.

What you’ll need
* Experience managing enterprise‑scale IT service in Financial Services or another large, highly regulated environment.
* Knowledge of Middleware Technologies (MQ, DataPower, WebSphere).
* Understanding of agile tầng delivery methodologies and DevOps.
* Leadership experience, ideally including line انھ or supplier management and developing high‑performเป teams.
* Experience with a broad set of Private Cloud services and products.
* Experience leading 24×7 operational support, incident management and defining/maintaining service levels.
* Managing third‑party suppliers to deliver critical services.
* Delivering consumer outcomes to support greater cloud adoption.
* Negotiation skill to influence technical and leadership decisions for optimal consumer outcomes and operational needs.
* Experience managing risks and controls across technical platforms.
It would be great if you also had
* Experience developing metrics to demonstrate performance improvement – SLIs, SLOs, etc.
* Experience implementing dashboards for multi‑cloud management.
