Job Title: Joiner / Carpenter
Location: Primarily London, with travel across mainland GB & Ireland
Contract: Permanent, full‑time Hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:40am–5:20pm (40 hours min) + shared on‑call rota
About the Role
We’re seeking skilled and motivated Joiners / Carpenters to support maintenance and fit‑out operations across a growing network of healthcare clinic sites. This role is varied, hands‑on and ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of site joinery, shopfitting, and general building maintenance.You’ll work closely with the Maintenance and Facilities teams, travelling regularly to existing sites as well as new clinic fit‑outs across the UK and Ireland. Amodation is provided where required for nonmutable sites.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out 1st & 2nd fix joinery, dry lining, ceilings, and general fit‑out tasks
2. Support maintenance across multiple sites, ensuring high‑quality workmanship
3. Raise material requisitions and maintain accurate stock records
4. Liaise daily/weekly with the Facilities Supervisor
5. Assist subcontractors during planned or reactive maintenance
6. Ensure worksply with current Building & Planning policies
7. Perform monthly site walk arounds and log maintenance requirements
8. Adhere to Health & Safety requirements, ensuring correct PPE use
9. Perform monthly H&S checks on all equipment
What you’ll need to succeed
Essential:
10. Fully qualified Joiner with strong on‑site experience
11. Experience across building sites andmercial fit‑out environments
12. Proficient in 1st & 2nd fix joinery, dry lining, ceilings
13. Confident using hand and power tools
14. Physically able to lift, carry and work in all weather conditions
15. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written instructions
16. Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills
17. Valid CSCS card
18. Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
19. Previous team‑leading experience
20. Shopfitting or shopping‑centre experience
21. Strip‑out and refit experience
22. Asbestos Awareness
23. First Aid (advantageous)
