Training and Administration Leader
We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Administration Leader to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy Involvement:
* Develop and implement tactical plans to align with business goals.
* Define training and skilling strategies to increase flexibility.
* Evaluate periodic skill reviews to ensure alignment with current business processes.
* Champion change initiatives and improvements within OPS Ex.
2. Planning Horizon:
* Provide annual learning plans that meet business needs.
* Plan and organize work (and/or coordinate tasks of subordinates) over a 1-day to 1-month planning horizon.
* Ensure work completion according to daily work schedules, costs within targets, and issue escalation to Senior Operations Manager as needed.
* Allocate work to team members to ensure timely delivery to internal and external customers while maximizing productivity.
3. Policy and Process:
* Enforce policies and procedures to guarantee efficient performance and compliance standards.
4. Financial Management:
* Manage spend within approved budgets and set targets for areas of responsibility to maximize resource usage, control costs, and increase profitability.
5. Continuous Improvement:
* Implement agreed-upon improvements of systems, processes, and practices to maximize business efficiencies in line with agreed targets.
* Analyze, report on analytics, and recommend procedural improvements to support business strategies.
* Proactively investigate accidents/incidents/delays to determine root causes and implement appropriate solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
* Champion change initiatives and improvements within OPS Ex.
6. Governance & Controls:
* Responsible for overall governance and reporting of training adherence in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Create and maintain aligned deliverable-skill-training matrices and career pathways aligned to Operational requirement and Learning & Development capability.
* Responsible for ensuring compliance to required standards as set in 'The dnata Way' and local legislations are successfully met in all dealings pertaining to the area of responsibility.
7. Managing Performance:
* Manage teams of Training Officers and Operations Office.
* Sets clear and measurable objectives for the team in line with the dnata framework and process.
8. Reward & Recognition:
* Drive a high-performance culture and effectively utilize organization's reward and recognition initiatives.
9. Talent Management:
* Provide leadership, coaching, and training to the team while dealing with employee relations issues according to company policy.
10. Safety:
* Lead with safety as a priority, ensuring all decisions are made with safety in mind.
* Role model safety behaviors, oversee health, safety, and hygiene standards, and hold team members accountable for fulfilling their roles in accordance with dnata's safety rules and best practices.
11. Behaviour:
* Act as a role model for the leadership team and wider organization in all people and customer interactions.
* Work in collaboration with Planning and Team Leader to ensure rosters, work schedules, and teams are managed effectively in a fair and transparent method.
12. Risk Awareness & Responsibility:
* Act in the best interest of the company always, ensures all business decisions are made based on authority level limits and after the appropriate level of due diligence and risk analysis has been carried out.
13. Customers:
* Ensure standards of external and internal customer service are met, with effective pro-active communication with all internal and external key stakeholders.
* Deal with all customers' interactions as required, investigate and manage complaints in line with SLA's.
14. Problem-Solving:
* Proactively investigate all accidents/incidents/delays to determine root cause and provide solutions to prevent further reoccurrences.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of solutions after implementation and take further corrective action where required, including escalating issues as appropriate.
