Job Title: Data Migration Lead Location: St Edbury- Hybrid- 1-2 days per week in the office Day Rate: £590 Inside IR35 Start Date: 06/03/2026 Job Type: Contract 6-month contract- Extendable We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Data Migration Lead to join a high-profile programme delivering large-scale data transformation. This role is ideal for a senior professional who combines strategic oversight with deep technical expertise and is comfortable working across both business and IT stakeholders. Job Responsibilities/Objectives Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale data migration initiatives Design and implement robust ETL migration pipelines Define and oversee logical data models and transformation strategies Ensure high standards of: Data quality Deduplication Reconciliation and audit processes Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to align migration strategy with programme objectives Support governance processes and contribute to architecture discussions Required Skills/Experience The ideal candidate will have the following: Proven experience leading complex data migration programmes Strong expertise in logical data modelling Hands-on experience designing and implementing ETL pipelines Deep understanding of: Data quality frameworks Deduplication techniques Reconciliation and audit controls Strong stakeholder management skills across business and IT teams Advanced proficiency in: SQL PowerShell Experience using SQL Server for data staging and transformation Desirable Skills/Experience Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client: Experience with CRM, CPQ, and Field Service systems Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dataverse Knowledge of staged migration strategies within complex programmes Experience participating in governance forums (e.g., architecture boards) Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and tools such as: Databricks Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2) Azure Data Factory (ADF) Experience in: Dimensional modelling Canonical data model development If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply now with your updated CV in Microsoft Word/PDF format.
