Overview We are at an exciting time in Europe Beverages as we look to accelerate growth and build iconic brands as part of the new International Beverages Organisation. Are you passionate about building iconic brands and breakthrough innovation, and do you have a curiosity to deeply understand consumer needs and behaviour and leverage these insights to catalyse category, portfolio and brand growth? If so, we have a great opportunity for you to join our team as a Marketing Insight Manager across Europe FOBO (Western and Eastern Europe), with significant focus on UK as Anchor and Create Market. In this role you will be working across brands such as Pepsi, 7UP & Mountain Dew alongside BU GM’s, marketing leadership (Europe Bevs and IB Dublin), R&D, Strategy, Design, Commercialization, Bottlers and external research partners. You will fully leverage/ monetize our existing data and knowledge, and also design and execute human-centric research, to drive scalable, advantaged and actionable insights to accelerate growth on some of our most important brands at PepsiCo. Responsibilities • Lead provision of world class insights to fuel CSD brand and innovation workstreams to support delivery of the Beverage Big Rocks and acceleration of volume led growth, profitability and omnichannel acceleration. • Lead our Europe Beverages Brand Equity program (BBE) ensuring we have world class equity reporting and we leverage the program to create clear and actionable brand strategies. • Build and drive an integrated insights agenda to underpin and fuel annual brand growth strategy and brand plans. • Lead CSD Innovation development across all elements of the marketing Mix – proposition, concept, product, pack, design, naming, pricing & volumetrics. • Partner with local BU and IB marketing teams to shape the annual marketing calendar. Building new campaigns or adapting global work to ensure this is locally and culturally relevant and across all channels (TV, Digital, Radio, OOH) delivers outstanding Sales Impact, Equity Impact and Creative Amplification. • Champion a culture of Human centricity across our business unit and External Inspiration Program and Experts Influencers for LT, Marketing, Franchise and bottlers community. • Identify growth drivers for CSD brands by combining different sources of information via Growth Navigator (includes HH Panel, how to win consumption data. equity tracking, comms tracking, sales, market share (Nielsen, Global Data) and meta-analysis. Activate learning plans and deliver actionable insights through powerful E2E narratives, that will guide all CSD brand growth across West FOBO and influence bottlers. • Train and guide agency team and S&T GBS to deliver powerful analysis, category, consumer and brand insights • Leverage global and regional insights tools, adapting to local needs and possibilities, and where need help build, standardize and automate new tools • Build & manage strong relationships with best-in-class Insights Agencies, to drive superior partnerships, enable productivity, and continuously stretch the Insights agenda for PepsiCo. Qualifications • Significant Insights experience across CPG (ideally with client-side experience) leading an insights agenda and partnering with senior leaders to drive insights to action. • Insights experience of building world class CPG brand strategies, creative campaign development and taking innovation from concept creation all the way through to market execution. • Courageous self-starter, able to operate independently without precedent and create new approaches and step out of your comfort zone and embrace challenges. • Ability to synthesize and persuasively communicate highly complex findings to focus on critical issues and actionable growth opportunities. • Actively creates, promotes, and fosters a culture of one team and collaboration to get things done. • Logic/ analytical thinker- can dissect a question/problem to get to a clear brief and turn analysis into a clear, compelling story. • Ability to see connections across different data & insight sources from category consumption, brands drivers, macro & micro trends, and future forces of consumer and shopper change. • Can mange a complex set of stakeholders and demands by being intentional and contracting on priorities with ruthless focus on delivering what was promised. • Commercially savvy individual who can build strong relationship and empathy with stakeholders and who can adopt an act as owners/consultancy mindset. • Leadership and coaching - ability to inspire and motivate the extended team across agencies and GCC/ S&T to grow and develop, maximising engagement and unleashing potential/ the impact they can make.
