Our cient is a leading AV event production company, delivering exceptional audio-visual experiences for corporate events, conferences, and large-scale productions. We specialize in sound, lighting, video, and live event management, providing tailored solutions that exceed client expectations.
They are looking for an experienced Production Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a hands-on role that will involve managing and overseeing the technical delivery of corporate events, from pre-production to on-site execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Lead and manage AV production projects from initial briefing through to post-event review. Ensure all technical requirements are met within budget and on time.
* Team Coordination: Supervise and collaborate with the AV technical crew, ensuring smooth communication between the team and clients.
* Technical Expertise: Oversee and manage AV setups, including sound, lighting, and video systems for corporate events. Ensure all AV systems are tested, configured, and operate at the highest standards.
* Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication regarding event timelines, technical needs, and expectations.
* Problem-Solving: Quickly identify and resolve technical issues during events, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless delivery.
* Budget & Resources: Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules efficiently, ensuring projects are delivered within scope and budget constraints.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in AV event production, with solid technical expertise across sound, lighting, and video systems.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in project management within the AV or events industry.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues on the fly.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to client sites (own transport preferred).
* Ability to work minimum 2 days per week in Reading, with occasional travel for on-site work at events.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients, suppliers, and teams.
Desirable:
* Experience in corporate event management or working with high-profile clients.
* Familiarity with industry-standard AV equipment, software, and control systems.
* Ability to handle high-pressure situations and adapt quickly to changes.
