Robert Half are delighted to be partnering with a local manufacturing business to recruit a Finance Manager / Group Reporting Manager to support the Group Finance Director and oversee the finance operations for their group entities. This is a key role within a growing group, offering genuine impact, autonomy and visibility across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the finance function for the legal entities and the group.
2. Lead and review month-end processes and prepare monthly reporting packs
3. Produce consolidated financial reporting.
4. Provide commentary, performance analysis and insight across the Group
5. Monitor and forecast Group cashflow
6. Review working capital movements and drive improvements
7. Coordinate annual budgets and half-year forecasting cycles
8. Act as the main contact for the year-end audit, preparing analysis and key deliverables
9. Support insurance renewals with financial analysis and data
10. Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed and reviewed
11. Support, train and cover team members as needed
12. Lead and contribute to process improvements (e.g. expense system rollout, BACs improvements, invoicing automation)

Skills & Attributes

13. Strong written and verbal communication skills
14. Sound technical accounting knowledge, including consolidations and multi-currency
15. Highly organised, able to manage multiple deadlines under pressure
16. Experience training, supporting and developing finance team members
17. Strong attention to detail with a commercial mindset
18. Proficient Excel user

Experience & Qualifications

19. Proven experience producing consolidated management reports
20. Strong understanding of internal controls
21. Experience in driving change, improving processes and coaching others
22. Fully qualified accountant - ideally ACCA or ACA

Salary and Benefits:

The role if Finance Manager is offered with a salary of up to £65,000. This role will be based fully on site.
