Role: Supplier Partnership Specialist – 12 month FTC
Location: Hybrid role with weekly presence (2 days) in our Handforth office
Salary: Up to £32.5k, plus comprehensive package

About the Role
Reporting into the Supplier Partnership Manager, the Supplier PartnershipSpecialistis responsible fornegotiating and planning annual supplier marketing plansacross all Pets at Home channels. Striving for continuous improvement of supplier marketing plans, this role utilises data and insights to identify marketing opportunities, define target audiences andinterpret activity results.This role creates strong alignment across Marketing, Trade Planning, and Price & Promotion teams to ensure that supplier income helps inform our planning activities and where possible is aligned to Pets at Home priorities and areas of focus.This role also supports in developing new processes, creative concepts, and opportunities for incremental supplier investment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, the role holder will negotiate and create bespoke annual marketing plans, ensuring clear and defined objectives for each communication
2. Work and coordinate alongside our partner agencies and internal channel owners to implement CRM and cross-channel marketing activities, acting as a representative of the supplier brand within Pets at Home for funded and value added activity, supported by the Supplier Partnership Executive
3. Work with data and insights teams to understand and utilise data to identify marketing opportunities, define target audiences and interpret activity results
4. Continually review alignment of supplier activities with the trading plans and commercial priorities of Pets at Home. Identify opportunities for suppliers to support key Pets at Home marketing initiatives
5. Responsible for supplier involvement and funding of strategic business initiatives and customer retention initiatives. Work effectively across our Trading, Marketing, Multi-channel, and Proposition teams to ensure strong alignment and consistency
6. Develop and manage effective partnerships with the supplier base, providing support and guidance, solving problems, and answering queries where necessary
7. Provide clear prioritisation and commercial / category thinking to a customer driven marketing team
8. Develop effective working relationships with internal Trading, Multi-channel, Marketing, Analytics, and Propositions teams, as well as external agencies
About You
9. Have competent commercial retail business understanding
10. Significant experience in commercial relationships and marketing planning
11. Experience in creating and delivering marketing plans
12. Be able to manage and prioritise workload of self and others and work to deadlines
13. Be confident in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work on many projects at any one time, managing multiple stakeholders
14. Possess excellent organisational skills and a willingness to be “hands on”
15. Be a strong team player, who has a track record of building strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders in the business
