Position Summary
Security Officer – part‑time, permanent position at our client’s site in Barry, UK. Hours are Friday & Monday 6am to 6pm (24 hours). The MSS Group is a specialist provider of facilities, industrial and environmental services with expertise in hazardous, highly regulated and complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Meet and exceed KPI targets set by Site Manager in liaison with the client
* Conduct Personnel and Vehicle searches
* Adhere to policy and procedures, without failure
* Report and react to any security or site non compliances
* To be customer & service provision focussed
* Carry out daily patrols
* To work as part of a team
Qualifications and Experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Professional and polite manner at all times
* Proven ability to work as part of a team
* Be physically fit
* Security experience
* Ability to remain calm in demanding situations
* Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
* Minimum 5 year checkable work history
* A valid SIA Licence
* Willing to assist with cover shifts
