Summary
We are seeking a Senior Care Navigator / Team Lead to join our dedicated team at St. Saviour's Surgery in Malvern. This pivotal role will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering high-quality patient care while supporting our staff in their professional development.
Main Duties and Responsibilities (Summary)
* Lead and supervise the Care Navigation / Reception team, ensuring high standards of patient care.
* Foster effective communication within the team and with patients.
* To work closely with the Practice Manager to continue to improve standards across a wide range of clinical and administrative activity.
* Organise the Reception Rota to ensure cover is always maintained.
* To support the Reception team to provide an efficient and friendly reception service for all patients and visitors to the practice.
* To support the Reception team to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Doctors and other members of the clinical team.
* To effectively communicate and liaise with the Reception team and address any queries and problems that may arise.
* Lead on the fortnightly Reception Team Brief meetings with support from the Practice Manager, Senior Practice Nurse and Operations Manager.
* Attend and share minute taking with the Operations Manager at the Monthly Practice Business meeting, Clinical and PPG meetings.
* Assist the Practice Manager in ensuring that the Reception team are compliant with Information Governance and GDPR.
* Provide guidance and support to junior staff members.
* Monitor and evaluate the performance of The Care Navigation / Reception Team.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
* Participate in training and development programs for staff.
* Ensure compliance with health regulations and best practices.
Qualifications / Experience
* Proven experience in senior roles or similar positions.
* Strong leadership skills with supervisory experience.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proficiency in IT systems relevant to healthcare management.
* A compassionate approach to patient care and team collaboration.

Hours:
7.5 hrs per day - Mon-Fri
The Practice is open everyday. The shifts would include at least two early shifts and two late shifts.
