Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join West Dunbartonshire's Health and Social Care Partnership working within our Older People Day Services. The teams within HSCP are fully integrated and our services benefit from having a multi-disciplinary approach to support and care. The service focuses on ensuring service users are supported and encouraged to maintain their current skills whilst gaining new ones through community and building base resources and by following the principles of a person-centred approach. You will be responsible for promoting individuals' health and well-being, maintaining independance through the collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure maximum outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Manage staff and coordinate the safe delivery and development of Day Services within West Dunbartonshire.
* Responsible for day-to-day management and delivery of support and care, ensuring the service is managed effectively and efficiently and is operating in accordance with National Care Standards, current legislation and West Dunbartonshire's Policies and Procedures.
* Demonstrate a strong sense of professional identity and the ability to work both independently and as part of an integrated team.
* Be dynamic, motivated, forward thinking, and capable of working in a fast-changing environment with a vision for change.
Qualifications
* Experience of managing care services either in a day care or residential care setting for older people, along with robust knowledge of current legislation, is essential.

Requirements
* This post is a Regulated Role with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020 and membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme are available.
* Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
