Restaurant Manager - Heavenly Desserts Rotherham (New Store)

We're looking for a hands on Restaurant Manager to launch and lead our brand new Heavenly Desserts store in Rotherham. You'll manage a team of around 15 staff and play a key role in shaping the restaurant from the very start.
This is a fantastic opportunity to put your stamp on a new opening, build a strong team culture, deliver outstanding guest experiences, and help us establish Heavenly Desserts as the go to destination for premium desserts in Rotherham.
We're looking for someone who's proactive, motivated, and thrives in a fast paced, hands on environment.
The restaurant's opening hours will be;
Monday - Friday 11 AM - Midnight
Weekends 10 AM - Midnight
(With 30 minutes either side for opening and closing duties)

What You'll Do
As Restaurant Manager, you'll:
* Be a Role Model: Lead from the front, whether greeting customers, preparing desserts, or supporting your team on shift.
* Deliver Excellent Service: Ensure every guest enjoys a warm welcome and memorable experience, resolving complaints with professionalism.
* Maintain High Standards: Oversee food hygiene, safety, cleanliness, and presentation at all times. Ensure daily procedures (including HACCP) are completed and the restaurant operates to company and legal standards.
* Drive Performance and Results: Plan rotas, manage stock, minimise waste, and keep costs under control to achieve commercial targets.
* Create a Positive Culture: Foster a fun, hard working environment where passion, honesty, and determination are the norm.
* Develop Your Team: Coach, mentor, and hold regular performance reviews to keep your team motivated and growing.
* Manage Daily Operations: Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, ordering supplies, and ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly.
