Your new schoolHays Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Sandwell to recruit an experienced Early Years Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive leadership team in a well-resourced setting committed to delivering high-quality early years provision.
Your new roleAs the Pre-School Manager, you will take a leading role in the delivery and development of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provision. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the pre-school, ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where all children can thrive.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Leading the pre-school provision and managing staff to ensure EYFS statutory requirements are met
* Planning and delivering high-quality learning opportunities across all areas of the EYFS curriculum
* Monitoring children's development through effective assessment and planning next steps
* Supporting children with a range of needs, including SEND and speech and language development
* Creating engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments
* Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies
* Leading safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare practices within the setting
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience working within and leading an EYFS setting
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and child development
* Experience supporting children with additional needs, including EHCPs
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* A passion for delivering high standards of care and education
